Overstepping the Boundaries is Melwood's first independent Toronto recording, co-produced with Vezi Tayyeb at Kensington Sound in 1995. With this album, Cutlery flirts with a variety of genres like rock, folk-ballads and a smattering of country and blues thrown in for good measure. The result is a unabashedly honest work delivered with genuine heart and soul.
